Allegedly, Ithaca, New York is the birthplace of the ice cream sundae. So, during our time in Ithaca we decided to stop at an ice cream parlor and get an ice cream sundae. Like we needed an excuse to have an ice cream sundae… We found lots of different kinds of ice cream sundaes on the menu at Purity Ice Cream. 

After careful consideration we decided to get the Oh My Goodness sundae. The ingredients, from the bottom up are: warm homemade chocolate cupcake, cookies and cream ice cream, hot fudge sauce, whipped cream and a cherry. This is probably the best sundae I’ve ever had. The warm homemade chocolate cupcake made all the difference in the world. A-ma-zing.
