An icon in the San Francisco skyline, the Golden Gate Bridge has been spanning the Golden Gate connecting the city of San Francisco with Marin County since 1937. I snapped this photograph of the Golden Gate Bridge from Crissy Field in the Presidio, part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. I wanted a shot of the bridge lit up against the night sky, but since 9/11 the bridge has not been lit up at night and there isn’t anything to see. So we found ourselves a good vantage point just after sunset and setup the tripod for this shot. 24mm f3.5
Absolutely beautiful!
Very great shot of the bridge. The bridge itself is awesome. We are happy that you are having such a great time. Love Grandpapa & Grand mother
