On the Arizona/California border lies an interesting city = Lake Havasu City. The city lies on the Eastern banks of Lake Havasu which is a continuation of the Colorado River which also flows through the Grand Canyon and flows into Lake Mead. The city has an interesting landmark - the London Bridge. Yes, the London Bridge does have a name that would lead you to believe that it is in England - and it was. However, as the song goes, the London Bridge was falling down. And the founder of the city, purchased it for several million dollars and spent another several million getting it here and having it put back together. The bridge connects the city to a small island which has cute replica lighthouses along the shore. The lighthouses are modeled after lighthouses in other parts of the country and built to a smaller scale.

It is an interesting town and we more than enjoyed going slow and taking a few days to relax in this small city.
