Kansas has the pleasure of being part of the Route 66 journey, but only for about 15 miles. We spent enough time in Kansas to buy post cards and take a few pictures, that was about it. It was a gross day and we were excited to get into Oklahoma, so we didn’t stay very long.

There were several shops similar to the one above - trying to cash in on their location and make sure that everyone knows that they’re on the very short stretch of Route 66 that goes through the southeast corner of the state.
And now we’re off to Oklahoma!
“There’s no place like home … There’s no place like home …”
Ya know, you should start a collection of things, maybe bumper stickers from all the spots you’ve seen and visited. How cool would it be to look back on these pictures and this site with your family and friends and also pull out momentos from the trip.
Take care, Brett!
