Finally! A decent amount of snow! And it hung around for a few days! Kate and I really enjoy snowshoeing, and this storm was the first real chance that we’d had all winter to get out and play in the snow. We loaded our snowshoes into the car and drove to Southeastway Park.
It was about 40 degrees and sunny, and we knew that the snow would not last long. The park was quiet and there were very few people around - only a few cross country skiers.
With winter almost over we don’t think that we’ll have another chance to get out and snowshoe again. But we’re not complaining too much. With warmer weather come big plans…
