I worked from home yesterday for a dentist appointment. Late in the afternoon Kate arrived at the house, arms full of shopping bags. She’d been a very productive Christmas elf running around, managing to squeeze in time for a haircut (very cute, I like it a lot). A few minutes after walking through the door she produces this massive pile of books:

Count them. Ten!! That’s right! Ten books on sailing from the library. I was amazed that the librarian let her walk out with so many books. Kate said that she cleaned out the whole sailing section. And now Kate has disappeared, she’s got her nose buried in one of the ten books, mumbling to herself things like “port”, “starboard”, “tiller”, and “jib”.
If that’s not jumping in with both feet, I don’t know what is.
That’s my Kate. She has to research and know as much about what ever she is going to do. She always give it her all.
