Last July Brett and I traveled to Burlington, VT to visit Brett’s family. We decided that while we were out East we would visit the fabulous city of Montreal. It was at this time - the planning, the traveling, the photos, the entire experience of traveling again - that Brett and I decided to set off on an adventure. Unfortunately I was a bit preoccupied thinking about what our grand adventure would be, that I think I shafted Montreal a bit. It was a great city and a great visit; but I know that we could have seen more and experienced more. Chances are we will be back there at some point.
Highlights of the trip include hiking up a mountain of steps to enjoy the vistas of Montreal, cobblestone streets, an amazing vegetarian buffet, some of the most delicious crepes I’ve ever had and a lot of walking. We walked up the steps and down the steps and back and forth. We utilized the subway system which means a lot of steps. But it was worth it. The only disappointing part was that English was much more widely used than I had expected. Brett was really hoping to improve his French while we were there. But, overall we had an absolutely fabulous trip
