Pass the sweet potatoes and the cranberry sauce!

Happy Thanksgiving!! This year, more than usual I’ve got a lot to be thankful for. My wonderful and amazing wife, Kate, comes to the top of the list. She has been doing the bulk of the research for Exit 1, she’s been helping out a lot with getting the website up and ready and so many other little things that she does daily. I really am thankful for her and for her positive energy.
I’ve also got a supportive network of family and friends who, while they have lots of questions about where, when, how, what and why - understand that what Kate and I are in the midst of planning is something that we’ve always wanted to do and that is very important to us. We truly are thankful for their support and encouragement.
I’m thankful for my brother Craig’s engagement to his longtime girlfriend, Maggie. They’re really great for each other and I’m very excited about them getting hitched. Congrats again!
I’m thankful for a great job that has taught me so many valuable skills and has allowed me the flexibility to ride my bike to work for two consectutive summers.
I’m thankful that my Mom is not in the hospital this Thanksgiving. I’m thrilled that she is at home where I’m sure she is cooking up a storm.
Happy Thanksgiving!
And I know you are thankful for Marilyn’s good report at Riley last month! You are such a wonderful Uncle. Marilyn will miss you soooo much! (me too)
