Happy birthday to my niece Marilyn. I can’t believe that it’s been a whole year since she came home from the hospital! She certainly has been a small bundle of joy. She officially turned one yesterday, and today we had a party in her honor. Cake, ice cream and lots of presents. Pretty amazing how active and mobile she’s already become. Soon she’ll be unstoppable! Here are a few shots from the festivities:

After swinging in her swing for a few minutes Marilyn fell asleep. Her birthday dress was removed as a precaution before partaking in the birthday cupcakes. It was for the best - frosting ended up everywhere.
