For as long as I can remember, Brett and I have dreamed of traveling the world: seeing its sites, meeting its people, learning its languages and enjoying ourselves along the way - where ever we end up.

Our dream is to live life on our own terms. It is not adopting a new title: vagabond, missionary, travel writer, photojournalist, etc and forge a life based on that definition as what we desire does not fall gracefully into a known definition that I am aware of. We hope to travel when traveling makes sense and to stay put when staying put makes sense. We hope to earn enough money along the way to make this a sustainable living. Our first choice is not to travel for several months, return to the states to work, and then travel for a few more months - rinse and repeat. Our goal is to travel and stay put intentionally - based upon opportunities we find along the way as well as by what our travel budget necessitates.
